Reflection Questions
One of the keys to reflection is finding a good question. If you're looking for some good questions you'll find some below. These questions are organized around the four questions of Concordia's reflective model of vocation. Another group of good questions are the advising conversation starters.

• Have I learned all that I can in my current position/situation or is there still much I can learn?
• Who knows me?

• What are my communities?
• If I had the opportunity to get a message across to a large group of people, what would my message be?
• What do I see everywhere you go?
• What is there too much of in the world? What is there not enough of in the world?
• Whose lifeStory inspires me to make a difference in the world?
What is really important?
• Am I doing what I believe in? Am I settling for what I am doing?
• What are the principles or rules that I would not break under any circumstances?
• What are my most important core values?
• When I am on my death bed what will I say sustained me through my entire life?
• At the end of the day what is really important to me?
• Who do I know and respect that clearly has a sense of what is important to them?
How do I reflect and discern?
• What helps me reflect?
• When I need to process something big, with whom do I want to talk?
• Do I spend enough time reflecting so that I can lead an intentional and meaningful life?
• Am I missing opportunities to reflect?
• When have I used discernment as a decision-making process? How did it go?
• Am I able to hear that “still small voice” within myself?
• When was the last time I was called to action or presence by a need beyond my own? What did that feel like?
• Do I have any important decisions coming up? Have I made enough space and gathered enough resources—including time with reflection partners—to make a good decision?
• Who do I know that reflects and discerns with integrity?
