Calling Cards or What I Do Best cards
The Calling Cards (put out by Inventure) and Gallup's What I Do Best Cards are great tools for exploring talents and skills. Both cards come with instructions: Calling Cards' instructions guide you towards writing a sort of personal mission statement and the instructions that come with What I Do Best Cards focus on comparing your current work situation with your ideal work situation. However, the cards can be used in different ways. Use these instructions in order to use either deck as an exploration of core talents.
A Note: Calling Cards tend to be more metaphoric and What I Do Best Cards tend to be more literal. You may find that this distinction helps you decide which deck you'd like to use. You may want to explore both decks!
Availability: Both decks are available for student use. Check with the reserve desk of the library where they are available overnight. The reserve desk also has an additional 20 decks of What I Do Best cards that can be checked out by faculty or staff for 7 days.
